Solea Laser Dentistry

A Change for the Happier
The miracle we’ve both been waiting for is here: Solea. Now available to you, Solea is a dental laser that replaces the dental drill in the majority of procedures in our practice. It causes virtually no pain, vibration, or noise.

In fact, nearly every patient skips anesthesia because they just don’t need it.

Solea is our way of keeping you happy. Because more than anything, we love to see you smile.

Making Dentistry Safer with Solea
Solea is not only our way of keeping you happy, but also keeping you and our staff healthy.
Solea helps reduce the risk of virus and bacteria transmission by significantly reducing the amount of splatter and aerosols created during dental procedures. This means there are fewer particles floating in the air that could potentially carry germs & viruses.

What is Solea?
Solea is an advanced dental laser developed by Convergent Dental in Boston, Massachusetts based on over 30 years of research. Solea uses laser light energy guided by sophisticated computers to deliver safe and virtually pain-free dental procedures on both teeth and gums. Solea procedures are needle-free and drill-free, providing a dental experience that you prefer. The experience is so unique that you will find it hard to believe you have been at a dental appointment.

WaterLase® Laser Dentistry

With patient comfort being our utmost concern, Midland Family Dental Care has added WaterLase® Dentistry to it's growing inventory of advanced technologies. WaterLase® Dentistry decreases patients discomfort by requiring no anesthetic during treatment, as well as no need for traditional drilling.

Using pulsating water pressure, WaterLase® is able to manipulate both hard tissue (teeth) and soft tissue (gingiva), performing a multitude of dental procedures such as restorations for decay on natural surfaces which do not have previous fillings. It is also used in conjunction with root canal therapies, helps disinfect and improve bone levels postoperatively when used during scaling and root planning procedures, and treats and heals cold sores or canker sores in half the time.
